DANIELA CÓRDOVA

ARTIST

Daniela is an artist based in Mexico City, her work is a mixture between different artistic expressions, it represents a deep connection with movement and freedom. Using photography and dance as her leading instruments, Daniela creates images full of live and connection with our inner world.

She started her career as a documentary photographer, her deep passion for traveling led her to write and photograph all around the world capturing the most remote and wild places, a strong attraction to different cultures and a deep desire to awaken diversity and empathy in peoples hearts, she transforms her experiences into art, reminding us the beauty, uniqueness and craziness this world is. Photography is an excellent medium for nurturing human consciousness, a direct insight into reality.

Before establishing her main studio in Mexico City she had the opportunity to be a finalist and exhibit her work in Art Basel, Miami, this propelled her art to different galleries and clients. Taking her to New York where she fell in love with Street Photography. Today her art is a fusion between all that she is.

“Throughout my life, I have danced as a form of expression, it opened me the doors to an artistic world, a life free of judgment, freedom and left constant movement impregnated in my soul. I have studied different types of artistic expressions, forging a diverse career in art. The camera is undoubtedly my favorite tool, it is a way to look into my inner self, how I perceive the world and what puts me on pause. My art and my travels have taken me to the most amazing, interesting and wild places on this earth, it is an honor to explore, capture and share them with YOU.”

You might find me around the world with my camera or dancing in the most fierce landscapes.
